About the Institute
Established to formalize what the industry left informal.
The Cloud & AI Architecture Institute was founded in 2023 by a consortium of enterprise architects, cloud governance specialists, and certification design professionals who identified a structural gap in the professional credentialing landscape.
While numerous vendor-specific certifications exist, none offered a holistic, architecture-level credential that spans cloud infrastructure patterns, AI system integration, data architecture, security posture, cost governance, and regulatory compliance within a single, unified framework.
The Institute operates under an independent governance charter. Certification standards are maintained by the Certification Standards Board, a body composed of practicing architects and assessment design professionals. The Board convenes quarterly to review domain relevance, assessment structure, and alignment with evolving industry practice.

Oversees adherence to the Code of Professional Conduct and adjudicates complaints.
Registry & Credentials Office
Maintains the public registry of certified professionals and manages credential lifecycle.
The Institute does not provide training, consulting, or implementation services. Our sole function is the design, administration, and governance of the certification program.
